In Phase III, a new extension was added to the Phase I offices. Egg Harbor Township Municipal Building exterior The highlight of the police station is a two-story atrium that gives the building an airy, contemporary feel. Through a partnership with a federal agency, we were able to design the station to be highly efficient and adaptable. In Phase II, we made use of limited funds to design a new meeting hall and police station. Phase I involved the creation of new municipal offices, including space for the clerk and tax assessor. Blumberg Associates was called in to design a Municipal Facility Master Plan and a brand new municipal building that would meet the township’s growing needs.īuilt on a former apple orchard, the structure was designed with the flexibility to expand parallel with anticipated growth and to complement the surrounding suburban landscape. As the population of Egg Harbor Township began to explode in the 1960s, the old Grange Hall that served as municipal meeting place became inadequate.
